What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is seeking a HC driver to deliver various products from our Linfox rail operations based in Acacia Ridge QLD, to our retail and industrial customers within the Brisbane metropolitan region and some regional areas. As part of this role, you will be required to drive various trailers from tautliners to skel and refrigerated trailers using our automatic Volvo fleet, to safely deliver container loads across the network. We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available working Monday to Friday, starting from 4:00pm and finishing at 12:00am. Key Areas:

• Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times.
• Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
• Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures.
• Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately.
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation.

• Current HC License essential.
• Prior transport experience driving multi-combination is desirable.
