What does the job look like?
The Linfox Resources & Industrial business provide innovative and industry leading warehousing and distribution services for a diverse group of customers. We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee warehousing and distribution activity within a dynamic multi-user facility in Richlands. This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated supply chain professional who shares and can deliver our vision of operational excellence.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be well positioned to ensure operational efficiency and delivery on our commitment to our highly valued customers. Through a collaborative approach to management, utilisation of equipment and innovation of processes you will make an immediate impact with the close-nit team. This role is initially available as a 12 month max term contract, with possibility for permanency. Key areas:
- Operational management of warehousing teams in line with customer contractual objectives
- Proactive relationship management with customers, including performance reviews, ensuring issues are investigated and resolved
- Formulation and monitoring of appropriate KPI’s to maintain the optimal warehousing performance
- Deliver productive outcomes through the utilisation of warehouse resources and frontline engagement
- Promoting safety-first standards and ensuring commitment to Safety, COR and Quality requirements
Are you the one?
You are a supply chain professional who can demonstrate effective decision making and people leadership within a fast-paced warehousing environment. You will rely on your operational and customer service capability to ensure operational efficiency is maintained and customer contractual obligations achieved. You can demonstrate:
- Experience providing warehousing or logistic solutions in a complex supply chain environment
- Commercial acumen with a great eye for analytics, ideally with exposure to SAP
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining high-performance teams and culture
- Influential with a variety of stakeholders with an ability to provide detailed and accurate analysis, budgeting, resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency
