What does the job look like?

Our Intermodal business unit have an opportunity for an experienced Forklift driver with a strong focus on service delivery to join our team in Mackay, QLD.  As part of this role, you will be required to operate our Toyota forklifts to unload/load containers and trucks  + various other general yard work when necessary. We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available working Monday to Friday on the early morning shift, starting at 4:30am and finishing at 1:00pm + overtime available on every second Saturday. Key areas:

• Safely operating our counterbalance forklift  
• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.
• Coordinate container movements throughout the yard 
• Unloading/loading containers from trains and trucks 
• Strong communication skills 
• Ensuring that all tasks are completed within contractual time frames
