What does the job look like?

As the Billing Implementation Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in supporting Linfox’s Commercial and Operations teams by ensuring transport and warehouse billing requirements are accurately captured, validated, and implemented within the Linfox Billing solution.

Working closely with Business Units, Finance, IT, Project teams, and selected external partners, you will help translate operational requirements into system‑ready configurations, support testing and implementation activities, and contribute to accurate, compliant billing outcomes that align with agreed business arrangements and governance standards.

This is a fulltime, twoyear max term role, based onsite at Linfox HQ in Essendon Fields (VIC).

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Partnering with Business Unit stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document transport and warehouse billing requirements
  • Translating operational processes into clear, configuration‑ready billing specifications
  • Validating billing structures, reference data, calculation logic, and supporting attributes
  • Identifying data quality issues, billing exceptions and rule or process misalignment
  • Logging, tracking, and escalating issues in collaboration with IT, Project teams, and vendors
  • Supporting UAT and integration testing to validate billing scenarios and outputs
  • Assisting with implementation readiness, including training support and change impact clarification
  • Supporting billing governance, audit requirements, and data protection standards
  • Providing clear documentation, issue summaries, and progress updates to stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement across billing processes, data quality, and system behaviours

Are you the one?

You’re a detail‑focused and analytical professional who enjoys working at the intersection of operations, systems and process governance. You communicate clearly, build strong stakeholder relationships, and take a practical, solutions‑focused approach to problem solving in complex environments.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Transport, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in warehouse or transport operations, billing, contract administration, or a related analyst role
  • Exposure to requirements gathering, testing, data validation, or system implementation activities
  • Understanding of transport and warehouse billing principles, reference structures and contractual constructs
  • Experience working with billing systems, TMS/WMS data, or enterprise platforms
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and attention‑to‑detail skills
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across operational and corporate teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast‑paced environment
