What does the job look like?
Our Hazelmere operation is seeking an Operations Trainer, a role that would suit a passionate logistics professional with expertise in assessing driver competency and the provision of training across various vehicles and equipment.
This role has a significant impact, working closely with a variety of stakeholders across Linfox, our customer sites and sub-contractor partners. You will utilise your expertise in chain of responsibility, load restraint and the handling of various freight profiles to provide targeted training and assessments to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Key areas:
- Plan and schedule training to meet operational requirements
- Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) across our operations and customer sites
- Deliver training and assessments for a variety of equipment, including heavy vehicles, vans to triple road trains, forklifts, and materials handling equipment (MHE)
- Develop assessment instruments and learning resources that meet customer needs and comply with Linfox and NHVR
- Promote continuous improvement and ongoing support across the business
Are you the one?
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Operations Trainer to help deliver engaging training to our workforce and maintain a strong safety culture. You can demonstrate:
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, significant Multi-Combination experience, ideally including road train, and current forklift licence (LF) essential
- Familiarity with the practical application of the NVR Standards for Registered Training Organisations
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and promote a culture of quality and continual improvement
- A structured approach with high attention to detail and an ability to influence various stakeholders
