What does the job look like?

We are seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler join our team, to manage daily routing and scheduling across company and subcontractor fleets, optimise delivery performance, maintain transport planning system accuracy and ensure compliance. The role works closely with operations and customers to resolve issues, manage redeliveries and deliver safe outcomes. Hours are Monday to Friday 10.30am to 6pm. Key areas:

• Coordinate daily transport planning, routing, scheduling and site communication for company and subcontractor fleets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, legislative, customer delivery windows and commercial requirements (including DIFOT and payload optimisation).
• Manage TMS accuracy, reporting, redelivery processes and resolution of delivery issues and non‑conformances.
• Liaise with internal teams, customers and vendors to meet delivery schedules and respond to enquiries within agreed timeframes.
• Support accurate, on‑time preparation of operational reports, KPIs, and management information.
• Promote a strong safety culture and comply with all Linfox/BevChain policies, Code of Conduct and WHS requirements.
• Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner.
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.

Are you the one?

You can demonstrate:

• Proven experience in transport scheduling, load planning or logistics coordination within a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong understanding of transport compliance, COR obligations, load configurations, weights and DIFOT performance requirements.
• Confident user of TMS/WMS systems with strong attention to data accuracy, reporting and system maintenance.
• Highly organised with the ability to plan resources, manage competing priorities and meet tight, time‑sensitive deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer‑focused and solutions‑driven approach.
• Demonstrates a strong safety mindset, accountability and alignment with Linfox/BevChain values and Code of Conduct.
