What does the job look like?

As a seasoned distribution centre leader with a proven track record of leading large, complex operations in a fast-paced 3PL environment. You bring a people-first leadership style, are commercially astute, and have successfully led senior leadership teams through periods of growth and operational transformation.

You are comfortable operating at scale, managing multiple customers and competing priorities, while balancing operational excellence with strong financial discipline and customer outcomes. You are recognised for building capable leadership teams and embedding a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement. Key Areas:

• Lead end-to-end distribution centre operations to deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective outcomes across receiving, storage, picking and despatch
• Own P&L performance, labour planning and resource optimisation to achieve strong commercial outcomes
• Drive strategic customer engagement and build long-term partnerships across a complex, multi-client environment
• Lead safety, quality and compliance frameworks including HACCP and food safety standards
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering capability, succession and accountability
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation to enhance operational performance, efficiency and growth 

Are you the one?
You are an experienced Distribution Centre leader from a 3PL environment, with demonstrated capability managing complex operations, multiple customers and large teams while delivering strong commercial and safety outcomes. You can demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in third-party logistics (3PL) distribution centre leadership
• Proven ownership of P&L performance and delivery of measurable commercial outcomes
• Strong expertise in safety, quality and food safety systems (HACCP or equivalent is an advantage)
• Experience leading large, multi-layered teams including senior leaders
• Capability managing multi-user, high-complexity warehouse environments and diverse customer portfolios
• SAP system knowledge
