What does the job look like?

We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our C&HG Fox Direct NSW team based at Erskine Park. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and optimisation of transport operations across the NSW network. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will ensure transport activities are executed safely, efficiently and in line with customer, contractual and commercial requirements while supporting Linfox's Vision ZERO safety commitment.

• Coordinate and optimise daily transport operations across the NSW network, ensuring compliance with CoR, safety and customer requirements.
• Plan and allocate fleet, driver and subcontractor resources to maximise utilisation, efficiency and service performance.
• Monitor daily delivery execution, ensuring all customer deliveries are completed safely, on time and in full.
• Manage driver, vehicle and subcontractor performance, including compliance, fatigue management and operational standards.
• Track and report on operational KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve service, productivity and cost performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while championing Linfox's Vision ZERO safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Are you the one?

You are an experienced transport professional with a strong background in transport planning, scheduling, allocations or logistics operations. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer outcomes while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. You can demonstrate:

• Experience in transport, logistics or supply chain operations within a site-based or network environment.
• Previous experience coordinating transport operations, fleet scheduling or resource allocation.
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and transport compliance requirements.
• Experience working with subcontractors, transport providers and external service partners.
• Exposure to transport management systems (TMS), telematics and operational reporting tools.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to analyse operational data and KPIs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience working in FMCG, retail or high-volume logistics environments will be highly regarded.
