What does the job look like? 

We are seeking a highly capable Senior IT Security GRC Delivery Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. Reporting to the IT Security Delivery Lead, you will lead governance, risk and compliance initiatives across our cyber security function, partnering with senior stakeholders across IT, Risk, Compliance and Operational Technology (OT) teams. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide guidance on security policies, risk management, SOCI obligations, compliance requirements and governance best practice, while driving security uplift initiatives and strengthening the organisation's overall cyber security capability.

This role is onsite based out of our HQ in Essendon Fields (VIC) 

 

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Lead the maintenance and enhancement of the IT Security Governance, Risk and Compliance framework.
• Manage and oversee the IT Risk Register, risk assessments and treatment plans.
• Develop, review and maintain security policies, standards and governance documentation.
• Deliver executive-level reporting across risk, compliance, audit and remediation activities.
• Provide guidance on SOCI obligations and governance requirements.
• Support audit, assurance and control testing activities.
• Engage and coordinate with risk owners, Enterprise Risk, and relevant stakeholders to assess security risks, agree on appropriate treatment plans, and drive mitigation activities through to closure.
• Support governance platform enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive accountability and remediation activities across technology and operational teams.

Are you the one? 

You are a seasoned GRC professional with strong policy, governance and risk management experience gained within critical infrastructure, highly regulated or complex enterprise environments. You are confident influencing senior stakeholders and have a strong understanding of cyber security controls, compliance obligations and governance best practice.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate: 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, IT or a related discipline.
• Security, risk or governance certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA or ISO27001.
• Significant experience in information security governance, risk and compliance.
• Strong experience writing and managing security policies, standards and procedures.
• Experience managing risk registers, controls and remediation programs.
• Knowledge of SOCI obligations and critical infrastructure environments.
• Experience delivering executive reporting and governance outcomes.
• Exposure to Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
